Eric Stroup, Instructor

Eric Stroup is a full time professional guide in Central PA and Southwestern Montana. He has been a commercial fly tier for the past fifteen years, and is the founder of the Spruce Creek Fly Co. www.sprucecreekflyco.com

 

In 2006 Eric was featured in a two volume instructional fly tying DVD with Charles Meck entitled Practical Fly Patterns That Catch Trout. Eric has instructed thousand of anglers and fly tiers and is a promoter of the waters and regions where he guides. He has had feature articles in Fly Fisherman and Eastern Fly Fishing Magazines, and is regular contributor to the Mid Atlantic Fly Fishing Guide and a staff writer for Kype magazine.

 

He is a conservationist dedicated to the preservation of cold water resources and is deeply committed to introducing anglers to the world of fly fishing. Eric and his wife Tracy reside in the town of Spruce Creek, PA where they operate one of the premier guiding and retreat centers in the East.
