Robbie Torsell is 16 years old and a Junior at State College Area High School, State College, Pa. He started fishing at the age of 3 at his pond. His interest in fly fishing began six years ago when he visited his cousin in Wyoming for a fishing trip. Since then he has put down the spinning rod for good and picked up the fly rod. He has advanced his skills on Pennsylvania waters. Penns Creek, Spring Creek, and Fishing Creek are his most popular locations. He is a member of the Spring Creek Trout Unlimited chapter. When he is not on the stream he plays baseball, and bow hunts. In his first year as a member of Team USA, Robbie is honored to be a part of the team, and sees it as a great opportunity to learn and further advance his skills in fly fishing. He would like to acknowledge his cousin Scott Holderman, Mike his friend, and his Dad for introducing him to fly fishing and teaching him skills.
