Stephen Salwocki

Stephen is a 16 year old Honor Student completing his Junior year at Danville Area High School in Danville PA.  He began fly-fishing in 2007 with the completion of the Boy Scout Fly-Fishing Merit Badge and now loves to fly fish the wild trout streams of Central Pennsylvania year round.  Stephen is a member of the Boy Scouts of America and the Columbia County Chapter of Trout Unlimited.  When not on the water, Stephen is tying flies or preparing for future fly fishing excursions.  

 

In 2009, Stephen had the honor of representing the United States in the Youth World Championships in the Czech Republic. For 2010, Stephen’s goal is to contribute to getting Team USA on the medal stand in Slovakia.  Stephen credits, and thanks, the current and past coaches, and all the volunteer instructors with providing the knowledge needed to develop his skills to be a competition fly fisher.
